What happens if I am not in at the time of delivery?

If you are not in when DPD try to deliver your parcel and you have not requested any changes (for example to leave with specific neighbour, leave in a safe place etc through their Predict Text and Email service), DPD's process is to attempt to deliver with a neighbour and leave you a card to let you know this has happened.

If DPD cannot leave with a neighbour, and the driver has time and the goods are shop compatible, he will take the parcel to the nearest parcel shop.  If he/she is unable to take to the shop, the parcel will be returned to the depot and delivery will be attempted again the next working day.
